Big thanks to everyone who got their work in, and a huge thanks to the pinch hitters and treaters! We are going through the collection now to confirm assignments and extensions. As a reminder, the minimum requirement is a 500x500 pixel artwork or a 500 word minimum complete story that is posted rather than a draft. Pinch hits will be posted shortly.

It is now one week to deadline: Countdown!

Remember that your completed works are due no later than 2359 UTC on April 27th. Completed works should not have [placeholder text] or contain an incomplete chapter list (ex: 2/?). You will want to make sure your recipient's name is listed in the "Gift This Work To" field. Stories or artworks that are gifts to the collection can be gifted to the mod account or you can say it's a gift for the collection in a note at the top. Big thanks to everyone who already turned in their works; you can keep editing up until reveals, but please make sure what you turn in is complete by the deadline.

Countdown!

Just under thirty-two hours left before deadline! As a reminder, your assignment will only be considered complete if it meets the following criteria:

1. Not in Draft form. We cannot accept Draft assignments and any work still in Drafts at the deadline will be marked as defaulted.
2. A minimum of 500 words or 500 x 500 pixels of artwork that does not involve repeating the same text.
3. Includes at least one requested tag. A "&" tag is a platonic request. A "/" tag is a romantic request . A "Character:" tag must include that character.
4. Does NOT include any of your recipient's listed DNWs in their signup. If you have a question about a DNW, please send us an email at maythe4thmod@gmail.com and we can pass along your question to your recipient.
5. Is a complete work. Mods are happy to take a broad view of what constitutes "complete" but placeholder text and "Chapter 1/?" cannot be considered a complete work.

Treats* are welcome and do not need to meet the minimum size requirement, but they should fulfill at least one requested tag, and they must adhere to the recipient's DNWs. Treats can be posted before or after the deadline, during the anon period, and after the exchange ends.

This is your regularly scheduled holofeed reminder that all works are due by 23:59 UTC (7:59PM Eastern Daylight Time) on April 26th, which is about twenty two hours from now, except for those creators who have already requested an extension. Remember that AO3 has fun quirks like going unresponsive when you need it to be up and running, and aim to get your work in early. You will have the opportunity to edit between now and reveals. Please double-check that you have not left your work in Draft form at the deadline, or it will count as a default.
